Theme of the Conference - “DURABILITY”
The Saudi Concrete Conference in May 2016 organizing by National Sub Committee Readymix Council of Saudi Chambers under the patronage of the Minister of Commerce and Industry. The conference will focus on discussions and topics related performance – based specifications and testing to verify durability and service life, approach for concrete durability, and development of durability in marine environment, supplementary cementitious material for durable concrete and performance testing to meet durability requirements, and local experience in converting from normal concrete to durable concrete.

The official language of the conference is Arabic. English live interpreting will be available.
Delegates
175 – 200 persons per event and it is free of charge but by invitation only.
This conference is intended for all professionals involved in construction industry that includes, but not limited to, consultants, client representatives, government representatives, contractors, design-build contractors, independent laboratory representatives, university professors, heads of engineering departments (public or private), project specification managers, project supervisors, material managers and engineers, technical managers and engineers, heads of estimating departments, engineers, designers, developers, structural engineers, etc.
There will be a designated area during the conference only for ladies whereas all female attendees such engineers and designers are welcomed to attend the event.
Exhibition
All parties; Sponsors, Technical Supporters, and Media Sponsors, will have the chance to have a display at the conference with a stand. The main purpose is to allow parties to showcase their latest products, services and innovations and to meet and interact with all the participants.
Each Sponsor will acquire an area to setup an exhibition booth consist of Pop up, table, and chairs to demonstrate his company adverting and marketing materials. The distribution of places will be drawn by lot.
The responsibility of the Sponsors is to provide the event branding committee with their pop up artwork design according to certain specification and requirements.
Note: Sponsors are allowed to distribute their own gifts to the audience during the exhibition. Gifts’ cost will be on the sponsors. The sponsor will be responsible on delivering his gifts to the hotels.
Interactive Sessions
An interactive voting sessions will take place during the event where specific questions will be directed to the event audience to brainstorm, understand construction market trends, evaluate the use of performance specifications in the Kingdom and have a general view about the construction market in Saudi Arabia. All attendees will receive a click pad device to use when prompted. The pool-style results will be presented at the end of event.
Fees
The conference is free of charge. There will be limited seating, maximum 200 seats per city, and by confirmation only.
